BEHIND THE TRACK
Búho began with a simple, unusual chord Manz played while improvising. After Rob Z reacted to the idea, they recorded it and gradually built the track together through experimentation.
The arrangement developed through constant exchange between both musicians, with each suggesting ideas beyond their own instrument. Some guitar sections were created around spaces Rob felt needed something, while Manz even used the drums to demonstrate the open-and-closed hi-hat feel he imagined for the ending.
The owl-like sound heard at the beginning isn't a sample. It was created with a descending guitar bend processed with reverb and delay.
