BEHIND THE TRACK
Original Lunatic began with a melody Manz created on his phone and immediately translated to guitar. From there, Manz and Rob Z developed the track through experimentation and improvisation.
The guitar solo was captured on the first take, before it had even been composed.
Other spontaneous moments were also kept when they added character to the performance.
Instead of a conventional bass, guitar was processed two octaves down and layered with distortion to create the track’s low end.

A sound was offered.
The owl chose.
They received a ship. It grew.
The being departed.
